When a super car like the Lamborghini Aventador gets launched onto the market, tuning companies are just foaming at the mouth to get an opportunity to transform into something even better. Not many have had the opportunity, but one more is joining that short list with the beginning of an extensive package. British tuner, Prindiville Design, have opted to change the appearance of the Aventador, but have mostly focused on reducing the super car’s total weight.
The tuner started the package by improving
the car’s aerodynamics with new front and rear bumpers, new front and
rear bumper grilles, new side skirts, and mirror covers. All of these
additions are made of carbon fiber, but, according to the tuner, they
are about 65% lighter than the ones found in the standard model.
However, opting to change them can get pretty expensive as the front and
bumper alone will cost a customer £11,000 (about $17,000 at the current
exchange rates). The next step that was taken was to add a new set of alloy wheels in any desired color or design.
Aside
from aesthetics, the Aventador also received a high performance
titanium exhaust system that is about 80% lighter than the standard one,
sports 200 cell catalytic converters, ECU tuning, mapping, programming,
and chip tuning. Prindiville has yet to reveal how these changes will
improve the engine’s output, so we can only imagine the power boost it
has received. The package continues with a new suspension setup
including fully adjustable systems designed for road and track.
