2010 BMW X5 M Typhoon by G-Power
Okay, so we would like to start off with the fact that we were impressed when G-Power updated the BMW X5 M SUV last year with its Typhoon package. What we didn’t was that, not even a year later, G Power would modify that package and improve it by that much more. In its standard version the Typhoon package delivered a total of 600 HP, now the tuner has boosted the engine of the SUV to an impressive 725 HP.
Thanks to the enlarged air intakes in the front skirt and the outlet vents in the bonnet, there is an improved flow of cooling air to the radiator and oil cooler at the front of the vehicle, increasing cooling performance by around 15%. The result is an impressive 725 HP and 890 NM of torque. The sprint from 0 to 60 mph is now made in 4.2 seconds which is 0.3 seconds faster than the standard package. Top speed remains at 186mph just as it was in the earlier package.
